Ok so out of nowhere I've had these two problems with my computer. I don't know if they're related, the one started like a few days before the other. I'll explain:

I noticed a few days ago when I go to turn off my computer and you get the 3 options: Standby, Shut down, Restart, that my option to put the computer on standby was dimmed out and I couldn't select it. I hadn't done anything different with the computer or anything, it just happened out of nowhere.

And then a few days later, when I booted my computer up in the morning, my monitor said "Input out of Range" and then the monitor when to sleep. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, and even unplugged and replugged, but it did it again. So then I started it up again, it did it, but once my monitor went to sleep I hit a key and again it said "Input out of Range" but then instead of going to sleep again my monitor just keep itself on and it booted up like normally and I was on my desktop... it makes no sense. It does this every time I start up my computer now and all I have to do is wait for the monitor to go to sleep and then hit a key to bring it out of sleep but still it's annoying.

I don't get why it's doing this and I haven't added any new hardware or anything or done anything new to make it do this...
