I did read the sticky before posting, and tried to run the ddr.scr file. After saving to desktop and running, it would momentarily flash a window before asking me if I wanted to run, save, cancel the file already downloaded. Hitting run just perpetuated the cycle. After a few minutes of this, I decided to just post and add the hjt log. So I noticed yesterday on my girlfriend's laptop that when searching through google she was getting random redirects. I tried to go through a few av programs and I did find a few viruses and a trojan. I tried to update vista with sp1, but she couldn't connect to microsoft for some reason (go figure). As I write, I checked to download again, she still cannot connect. No weird proxies, uses her own router that hasn't had any issue before, and can connect to just about any other website or ftp. Zone Alarm won't install until I have this, but I can stop by my apt to pick that up. Anyways - main issue is the redirects, but I deleted a few lines with hjt yesterday and the problem seem to have resolved, but its back with a vengeance. Any ideas?
