any clue how to retrieve files converted to DBX in the process of upgrading M.E. to XP? They are all still there - the folders, the address book. Just have no clue how to do this. There are a lot of business and photo files I need. HELP?

Hi Grannypj,

I've found a freeware program that will help you convert the .dbx files to other formats.
(Most others I saw were shareware, requiring a fee.)

First read this blog item by Ulrich Krebs .

Then continue on to the download with instructions at DBX to MBOX converter by Ulrich Krebs

(I've not used this program.)
The only easy day was yesterday.
