When I switch on my PC and click on Sound and Audio devices everything is fine. But when I start a program that requires ANY sound (like a player-bsplayer, browser&youtube, even a game, after I close it I cannot start it again because it says I don't have an audio card or any audio device.
When I go to the Control Panel it says that there is no audio device, nor speakers nor mic connected. If I restart the PC it is OK. So now I don't close my bsplayer and browser until I switch off the PC which is annoying.

Could this be a virus problem? When I start the task manager it doesn't show any suspicios proccesses, I scanned with MBAM and NOD32(old version) and they didn't find anything.

If it is with the sound card should I by a new one or this could be fixed.
Thanks :flowers:

Go to the Device Manager
Expand the listing for Sound, video & game controllers
Uninstall the sound card
Restart the computer & let it reinstall.

It turned out to be a virus. I found a solution, though

If you can't find/delete the virus and you don't want to reinstall Windows do this thing.

1. Go to Start Menu
2. Control Panel
3. Administrative tools
4. Services
5. Windows Sound - and click start at the top-left corner.

Thanks anyway :flowers:
