Just bought a PC for the firtst time so I may be on here quite a bit asking questions.

I'm not computer illiterate but I'm no clever clogs either.

You can find a lot of useful information in the Tutorial section. There are some great articles about using firewalls and other applications to keep your computer safe from intrusions.
