probably u saved these images and files from BC to your PC (in your cache), your browser does this to load websites faster (it downloads these files and saves them, so it doesnt have to download them every time you visit bleepingcomputer.com). Generally restarting your browser (or your PC) will do, if not please reply.

This is a known issue if you use firefox. Empty your firefox internet cache and this problem should be gone.
Firefox has a build-in feature that empties the cache. I cannot give you more details since I am currently not using Firefox, but it is located somewhere in the menu.

Yeah, should be, but apparently there is some kind of bug somewhere. I encountered this problem a few times and this seems to be the solution so far. I will look for a similar topic and post a link if I find one.

Thanks for the link Beenthere, here is the link to the post. Its some kind of glitch from ATF-cleaner in combination with Firefox.

maybe a silly question, but ATF-cleaner has an Firefox-tab with extra settings, maybe you should've used that, although i think you did =']

FWIW: That screen shot you posted...I received it a few times over the last couple of days (never before that) while on this website.

I mentally just wrote it off as a website quirk of some sort.

I don't use either Firefox or the program mentioned and it did not occur on any other site I visited.

Louis, funny, I havent heard of this problem outside of firefox-users who ran ATF-cleaner. But I guess you could try to clean up your internet cache from whatever browser you are using.

Well...it hasn't happened today at all, I routinely dump my IE cache.

I won't worry about it until it occurs again...repetition is a key indicator of a problem on my systems and I'm quite used to having periodic quirks occur at this site.

Advice appreciated .

Benny, glad it works now fine!

Louis, this is a bit weird. I use Chrome and IE8 with BC and never had any problem. The only instant in which the site seems to load only half is when I happen to have a dropping internet connection. It can have anything to do with what Benny suggested about a window being opened when the cache is emptied, I can imagine things going a bit wrong then, but thats the only thing I can come up with.

regards, Elise
