Microsoft Windows XP, Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 (NOW WINDOW 7 BETA BUILD 7000 for few months.)
Intel® Core ™2 CPU
T5600 @ 1.83GHz
1.83 GHz, 1.99 GB of RAM

IE - CANT access internet through IE "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." whenever I open it.

Mozilla Firefox - CAN access internet through it but only works ONCE. If i close it, I'm screwed. Can't open firefox afterward or open a new window unless I restart computer.

Whenever I try to upload a photo to photobucket, myspace, etc, all of them say there's been a network error. CAN'T sign in messagers, yahoo, skype etc. due to network error.

Sometimes internet browser immediately displays NETWORK TiMED OUT page.

I know it's not my router (at school) because I used this computer at home with even better internet connection, same all apply.
  • Things I've tried. Run>Command>ipconfig renew and release
  • Disconnected all modem/router/shut down computer and waited 45 seconds.
  • Set firewall to default settings.
No anti-virus programs are running. (They're all outdated.) I dont think there's a virus but programs tend to change settings.

PLEASE HELP!!! any advices would be appreciated.
