anyone, how can I run chkdsk /r when a pc stops at boot ? can I run it from a windows XP install disk ?


'cyclic data redundancy error ' (drive C - os drive )

I've seen a few posts about this error so is the common solution to run the manufacturers diags , which would be Dell I assume? its a dell
optiplex g280 low-profile type box.. I've never encountered this error so any info is appreciated.
