I have a H/P Deskjet 5740 printer. Today I bought new ink cartridges for it ( 94 & 95). When I try to print I get a message that says "Problem With Tri-Color Print Cartridge" The advice in the dialog box is to remove it and reinsert it. I do this but keep getting the same message. It won't get to the print processs at all. Is it a case of a bad tri color cartridge, or is there some fix that I can use? Thanks in advance.

You removed the protective film? If yes then I would suspect a bad cartridge first. Then trouble shoot from there. After trying a new cartridge if still no luck try unplugging the printer then plugging it back in.
