Hello there. I joined this forum in hopes of getting a problem of mine fixed... but now it seems to have resolved itself, or is 'pretending' to? Anyway, I used to know computers fairly well, but now I've gotten more timid, especially with just so many programs that have to be left running and registry changes and all that. I try to keep my system protected by using AVG Free, spybot, ad-aware, and malaware bytes. If my problem (had to do with space disappearing from my hard drive about a MB every 2-3 minutes without downloading and such, and never came back even after I got offline) returns though, I'll probably be posting in a more specific forum and try to give all the information I have, which may not be so much since I have become more rusty at this stuff.

Guess it's a sad sign of 'planned obsolescence' that I was seriously considering just getting a new laptop instead of fixing this one. And really, the speed and everything's just fine for me to do my internet stuff, schoolwork, and watch movies/listen to music, I just need to buy a bigger external drive, which is why when my space was going missing, I was getting real scared since i didn't have that much to lose-_^

Anyway, I hope I didn't babble too much about my problems, but thank you all for having me heh.
