Hi guys,

I started experiencing some BSOD's yesterday. The code was 0x07E 0x80000003

I googled that and decided the registry had become corrupted, so I formatted and re-installed xp with sp3.

Now I have a new problem, when I open the browser it freezes the machine completely.
(firefox 3.0.9 and IE7)
But if I open a browser in safe mode, it works just fine.

So I un-ticked everything on the startup tab in msconfig and that didn't help. I have done a full virus scan with kaspersky. (which made me uninstall spybot) I have done a scan with MBAM, as well as with Spybot S&D.

I have run DDS.scr and SDFix as well as Fsecure blacklight.

Here is the DDS log results:

DDS (Ver_09-03-16.01) - NTFSx86

Hi .

A random thought...what if it's your hard drive causing your apparent problems? Have you ran a hard drive diagnostic yet?
