Computer is slow, can't open more than 2 or 3 windows. On reboot server.exe generates an error message. When looking at Performance through Windows Task Manager CPU loading oscillates between 10% and 100% very periodically every 1.5-2 seconds. Loading drops to 10% for a moment, then maxes out at 100%, stays there for about a second and then drops again to 10%.
Ran Norton 360. It removed couple viruses. That didn't change anything in the computer behavior.

Started occurring 3 days ago. No new programs were installed at that time.

I have since ran kaspersky online scan and it came up with the following infection Worm.Win32.AutoRun.fon. Can that be the cause, and if so, how to get rid of it?

I have Windows XP Pro, Dell Inspiron E1505, 1Gb of RAM.

Thank you!

As it logs the scan, at the bottom of the log server.exe every couple seconds was going from 2 lines to 4 lines and they were getting red and green. I tried to capture at that time, but the file didn't get uploaded "can't upload this type of file". Please see two other captures. Let me know if this works.

Thank you!

Nothing really jumps out that I can see
What version of McAfee are you using? If it has a real-time malware scanner, it might be conflicting with AVG Anti-Spyware
Maybe try posting in our Am I Infected? forum and see what you can find there
