I am trying to find an App. that puts a winamp controller in my folder windows. Kinda of like the plugin for firefox, but for my folder windows. If anyone knows of one, that would be great.

You are looking for a plugin that will allow you to have the winamp controls in the left pane of a folder screen?

Looks like you will have to settle for a shortcut that will open Winamp and then leave it running in the background.

Have you tried DBPowerAmp or JetAudio? Some of the DBPowerAmp skins have a one line desktop control bar. It doesn't dock to folders but sounds like it might be close to what you are looking for.

I place the dbPowerAmp player in the spot you target, Shibby. I believe in order to do so there is an indication that the app is open in the task bar as well, though.
