1st a little background I have had some kind of virus in the system for a while automatic virus scan, security warning etc. I have a spyware program that was no help.
i have downloaded a boot disk and ran recovery mode was able to copy userinit.exe from that disc to c: windows\ system 32 but when I reboot the same thing happens , this computor is the host on my network, I tried going to regedit and open connect network registry I find what I think is the comp but when I try to open hkey local machine I get an error while opening key message I tried to find the ip adress from the ailing machine but have had no luck any ideas would be great

COPY USERINIT.EXE WSAUPDATER.EXE
