Hi and thankyou in advance for your help.

I'm running windows xp SP3 on a HP compaq, AVG full suite.

My AVG detected the prunnet.exe file and a number of strange dll files that follow a consenant-vowel-consenant pattern eg barihuye.dll.

AVG detected and removed the files but i started tp have a number of problems notably IE7 crashing, redirecting/jumping to strange sites etc. I have read a number of posts about this problem and i ran sdfix which removed another trojan also went to MS onecare and had a few more things picked up there.

However the IE7 problems remain and whatever is in my system is somehow preventing me from downloading from some sites icluding superantispyware, itunes and some other spyware sites recommended on the forums - wierd.

So i downloaded SAS from my pc at work onto my thumb drive - but now my pc can't see the thumb drive. Have tested a couple of drives in different usb ports - all the same deal...i'm guseeing this is too much of a coincidence.

I have a hijack this log and also a fixwareout report.

Can anyone please advise my next course of action.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
