Hello viper123 and welcome to BleepingComputer.

You've got a lot of stuff there, we'll take it one step at a time.

If you haven't already done so, download Ad-aware SE v1.06 from LavaSoft. Install and update it. Run a "Full scan", but uncheck "Search for negligible risk entries" and "Search for low-risk threats". Allow Ad-aware to remove anything it finds. A tutorial for Ad-aware can be found here.

Please do an online virus scan at one or more of the following sites:
Panda ActiveScan
TrendMicro Housecall
BitDefender On-Line Virus Scan

Allow the online scans to remove anything they find. Report anything that they can not remove.

Download LSPFix and unzip into it's own folder. If the next step leaves you without a functioning internet connection, you will need to run this.

To remove New.net please go to Add/Remove Programs, look for and remove New.Net. If you can't find it, then please go here and follow the removal instructions in Procedure 4 at the bottom of the page.

If you can not connect to the Internet after removing New.net, please run the LSP-Fix program I had you download earlier, and click on the finish button. Reboot and you should be able to get back on.

Note: Misuse of LSPFix can cause loss of internet connectivity. Do not use it if it is not required.

Open Hijackthis 1.99.1
- Click the Config... button, then go to the Misc Tools section.
- Click on Open Uninstall Manager. You'll see a list of programs.
- Click on Save List...

The file "uninstall_list.txt" will be created. Copy and paste the contents of this file to your next reply.

Also post a fresh HJT log like the first one you posted.
Derfram

Spyware doctor is a good program, but it may interfere with some of the fixes we are going to do. Please disable any active protection Spyware Doctor may have running. Reenable it only after you have been given the all clear.

Please read these instructions carefully and copy them to a Notepad file. You will need to make reference to them while off line and booted into safe mode. Be sure to follow ALL instructions!

Download LQfix.zip.
- Unzip it to your desktop.
- Don't use it yet.

Download and install the trial version of Ewido Security Suite.
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
- Launch Ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
- The program will prompt you to update; click the OK button.
- The program will now go to the main screen.
- On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
- Click on Start.
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed close Ewido.

Please right-click: HERE and go to Save As (in Internet Explorer it's "Save Target As") in order to download Grinler's reg file. Save it to your desktop.

Locate "smitfraud.reg" on your desktop and double-click it. When asked if you want to merge with or add to the registry, click YES. Wait for the "merged successfully" prompt then follow the rest of the instructions below.

Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit.
- Unzip it to your desktop.
- Double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
- Select "Delete on Reboot".

Copy the file paths below by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C

C:\wp.exe
C:\wp.bmp
C:\bsw.exe
C:\Windows\sites.ini
C:\Windows\popuper.exe
C:\Windows\system32\hhk.dll
C:\Windows\System32\wldr.dll
C:\Windows\System32\helper.exe
C:\Windows\System32\intmon.exe
C:\Windows\System32\shnlog.exe
C:\Windows\System32\intmonp.exe
C:\Windows\System32\msmsgs.exe
C:\Windows\system32\msole32.exe
C:\Windows\System32\ole32vbs.exe

- Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
- Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If your computer does not reboot automatically, please reboot it manually.

While your computer is restarting, tap the F8 key continually until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

If you miss the right timing and your machine boots into normal mode, then try again. How do I get to Safe Mode?.

While in Safe Mode, please do the following:

Locate LQFix.bat on your desktop.
- Doubleclick on LQFix.bat. A command window will open and close again, that is normal.

Run Ewido:
- Click on scanner.
- Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
--- Binder
--- Crypter
--- Archives

- Click on Start Scan.
- Let the program scan the machine.
While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK.

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report.
- Click Save report.
- Save the report to your desktop.

Enable viewing of hidden files as follows:
1) Go to My Computer, and click on the "Tools" menu
2) Click "Folder options"
3) Select the "View" tab
4) Make sure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected
5) Make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked
6) Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" is unchecked

Start HJT and click on the SCAN button. Put a check mark in front of the following lines if they still show:

Looking much better. You did very well, that was quite a lot I gave you. We've now uncovered a couple of hidden infections.

We will be working on the following line:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lltkyd] c:\windows\system32\fwxygio.exe r

If you have rebooted since the last HJT scan the name and filename on this line will most likely have changed. Please rescan with HJT and note the current incarnation of this line. You can recognize it by the random filename and the 'r' at the end. Leave HJT open as we will use it shortly. Please substitute the current values for this line in the fix to follow. Do not reboot until requested to.

Download Process Explorer from http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html
- Unzip ProcessExplorer into it's own folder.
- Open the folder and run Procexp.exe.

In the list of processes, find fwxygio.exe (substitute the current O4 line random filename from the just completed HJT scan).
- Right click on the process and select "Suspend".
- Leave ProcessExplorer running

Back in HJT, in the lower right click on "Config..."
- Under the "Misc Tools" tab, open "Delete a file on Reboot".
- In the 'File Name' box, enter c:\windows\system32\fwxygio.exe (substitute the current O4 line file path and name)
- Click OK and allow the system to reboot.

Download CCleaner and install.
- Do not run it yet.

Download Nailfix.zip.
- Unzip it to the desktop.
- Do not run it yet.

Next, reboot into Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, double-click on nailfix.cmd.
- Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Run CCleaner.
- Uncheck "Cookies" under "Internet Explorer".
- Click on Run Cleaner in the lower right-hand corner. This can take quite a while to run.
- When finished, exit CCleaner.

Start HJT and click on the SCAN button. Put a check mark in front of the following lines if they still show:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {8952A998-1E7E-4716-B23D-3DBE03910972} - (no file)

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lltkyd] c:\windows\system32\fwxygio.exe r
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Uninstall_TBPS] C:\WINDOWS\Temp\TBuninst.exe /remove

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Reliability - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dOtime.dll

O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked. Close HJT.

'Nail' drops some files that Ewido can clean up. I need to ask you to run Ewido once more.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

Configure Windows to enable viewing of Hidden and System files.

Boot into Safe Mode.
Please be sure SpywareDoctor is completely disabled and shut down before continuing.

Start HJT and click on the SCAN button. Put a check mark in front of the following lines if they still show:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [keixuum] c:\windows\system32\sclyqdn.exe r
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoLoaderAproposClient] "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cxtpls_loader.EXE" /HideUninstall /HideDir /PC= CP.AOP /ForSupportedBrowsers /ShowLegalNote=nonbranded
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [4F2i3tV] pncpperf.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [180ClientStubInstall] "C:\temp\stubinstaller6480.exe"
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LotsRjZsS] phoycc.exe

O20 - Winlogon Notify: policies - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dOtime.dll

With ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, click on Fix Checked.

Open Windows Explorer (Windows key+e), navigate to and delete the following files and folders (Don't be concerned if they can not be found):

c:\windows\system32\sclyqdn.exe <--Files
C:\WINDOWS\System32\phoycc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\pncpperf.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cxtpls_loader.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dOtime.dll

C:\temp\ <--Open this folder and delete ALL the files inside. Do not delete the folder itself.

Reboot normally. Again, be sure SpyDoctor is shut down - scan and post a fresh HJT log.

You seem to be accumulating new malware as fast as we can clear the old. I think we will need to dig deeper.

Open the Control Panel then double click on Add/Remove Programs. Look for the following and uninstall them if found:

- Search Toolbar (HuntBar/WinTools)
- Web Search Toolbar (WinTools)

Please download CWShredder.exe to your desktop from: http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWSInstall.exe
- Run CWShedder.exe.
- Click on Check for Update to be sure you have the most current version.
- Run CWShredder by clicking on the FIX button, and allow it to complete.

Configure Windows to enable viewing of Hidden and System files.

Start HJT and click on the SCAN button. Put a check mark in front of the following lines if they still show:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.websearch.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50249
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = http://www.websearch.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50249

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8952A998-1E7E-4716-B23D-3DBE03910972} - (no file)

O3 - Toolbar: &Search Toolbar - {339BB23F-A864-48C0-A59F-29EA915965EC} - C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\toolbar.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TBPS] C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\TBPS.exe

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Unimodem - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dOtime.dll

O23 - Service: WebSeach Toolbar support NT service (TBPSSvc) - Unknown owner - C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\TBPSSvc.exe

With ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, click on Fix Checked.

Open Windows Explorer (Windows key+e), navigate to and delete the following files and folders (Don't be concerned if they can not be found):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dOtime.dll <--File

C:\Program Files\Aprps\ <--Folders
C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\

If any of these resist being deleted, boot into Safe Mode and try from there.

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
