Hello, I am working on a Sony Vaio laptop that can not connect to the internet. This is NOT a local area network issue, as we get the same result using a Comcast cable connection, and a Quest DSL connection. I have tried IE7, Google Chrome, Opera and Firefox, but switching browsers does not help. I am pulling valid IP addresses from both the wired and wireless connections, have flushed DNS, flushed the arp cache, to no avail I used Winsock fix, but still no help. Does anyone have any more ideas? Thanks!
