Computer is sick again and having trouble restoring. "unsuccesful" 6/19/05

I had to restore a few months ago. I don't think I ever reset the points (turning restore off then back on). Did my computer save corrupted points during the days it was sick?

I read the following about restore points.

" Restore points build on earlier restore points. If a restore point from an earlier date is corrupted, all subsequent restore points that are created from that date forward are also corrupted. Therefore, you may not be able to restore your computer by using a restore point."
Thanks, Coyote

if you restore your computer back to a corrupted time your restore wont work anymore because the first restore was corrupted. So to fix this, turn off restore fix the problems
and then turn it back on.

Techsomething,
Thankyou for reply.
Does this mean I do indeed have corrupted points since my last restore?
If the restore points prior to the first crash are still listed I should be able to use one, correct?
Thanks, Coyote
