I uninstalled Sound Forge 9 with Perfect Uninstaller. The program does not show up on the Add/Remove Programs list nor the Perfect Uninstaller list anymore.

However, when I try to do a fresh install, I get

Sound Forge is already installed. If you want to reinstall the application, use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the existing version before reinstalling.

As I mentioned, this program does not show up in the Add/Remove list anymore.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Run it and see if it's listed and tick the box to remove it

It wasn't listed there either.

Unfortunately, the only Sony product listed was the Noise Reduction plug-in for Sound Forge. Thanks for the suggestion.

I guess I'm looking for a "Force" installation method.
