i was recently playing halo 2 for windows vista and it froze unexpectedly. i went to task manager to terminate its process when i noticed something called dllhost.exe and was quite puzzled as to what it is so if someone could help me out and tell me wether its a virus or not that would be great

This can be a tricky one
Although there is a legitimate one, many malware writers also hide their viruses there
Try updating and running your AV and scan tools
