My WindowsXP system is simply not kicking any sound out of the speakers or headphones. I have ran through all the Troubleshooting stuff you know ... Do you have any gasoline in the tank Yes No... Does not solve the problem...Ran a scan with one of these softwares that checks your driver updates and indicated that the driver for my sound card that came with my E-machine 6250 bought 4 years ago (I think 6250) was not up to date. Where do I download the Driver from? Supposedly the Sound Card is Realtek 97

Thanks,
SeaJack

>First check the setup CD that comes with the MB if you don't have it go to the MB manufacturers site for the drivers. >Verify that is is in fact Reaktek97.
>?Go to control panel click system, hardware then device manager, there you will see the list of hardware click on sound. once it opens right click Realtek then you can click on the driver tab, there is an option to roll back the driver which may work.
>I have Realtek on board sound and have six drivers on the CD that came with my ASrock board.
