Hello,

First let me say how much I appreciate the folks that help faceless posters with these malware issues.

My problem:

Laptop began running slowly and I suspected some kind of infection. Not knowing what to do I ran a slew of scans from the likes of Spybot S&D, AdAware, Avast, Spyware Blaster, A couple of these (don't remember which now) identified Vundo and some other nameless trojan and allegedly deleted them. I also tried VundoFix which found a couple more files. Scans now come up clean, but computer is still terribly slow. Note: I am not leaving these scanners resident so they're not responsible. Eventually somone pointed me to HiJackThis. However I don't know how to interpret the log. AnalyzeThis pointed me here. In accordance with your posted guide, I d/l'ed dds.scr and generated logs. I am attaching them per the instructions. I truly appreciate any advice you can give me.

Thank you!
