Hello! I am using windows XP, previously connected via direct connection to a router, can connect via wi-fi or directly to a modem.

a week ago, i was able to connect fine. then when i rebooted, i could no longer open any website through firefox or explorer. i could connect to the internet via router, wi-fi, or modem, but all the pages i try to open say PAGE LOAD ERROR. initially, i thought that it was the internet that had a problem. i tried connecting to other networks but the same result. i finally tried a different computer, and was able to open web pages using my internet connection. i restarted my computer on safe mode with network capabilities, and now am able to access the net. but everytime i try to restart via normal mode, i still could not open any pages.

i already ran malwarebytes anti-malware and super-antispyware, and they say that i am not infected.

please help?

thanks in advance!
