Hello,

I have been infected yesterday by something who create files under C:\ and create process every 10min~.
I could delete files under and C:\.
Also after running Ad-aware, Hijackthis, Spybot and AVG, it seem those file are not created anymore, but there is still something running through mshta.exe. yesterday when I came back home, I could see about 20 mshta.exe processus running in the taskmanager.

I still got a warning every 15min~ with the following message: (coming from AVG)

xdwlnbqsdsph5pc8rz81.cn/s_t_t.php
Processus name: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mshta.exe
Processus ID: 3248
Exploit: Exploit JavaScript Obfuscation

for the moment I have just renamed mshta.exe to see if something happen (except windows asking me to insert the CD for a recovery)

Also, I found a similar thread, but I am not sure what to do.

Regards,

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
