Hi ppl!

After a strange pdf had itself opened in my browser my pc with lots of work on it was almost done..
Thanks for the help i found here (especially combofix).

That is wonderful news pref. We are glad you managed to come through! Well done :flowers: It is gratifying you used combofix with no ill effects, yet. Be sure to let us know if things get weird for your computer :thumbsup:

So far all is working, hope it will stay :thumbsup:
by the way combofix couldn't run until i renamed it, probably this version of the rootkit knew about it already.

Yes I hear you have to rename it at times. But I should inform you pref, here at BC we try not to go into detail regarding Combofix outside of the HijackThis, Spyware and Malware Removal Forum. Even, then it is not for casual use. We are very careful how we deal with that program because it can be so dangerous. If you find you have an issue with it, please post in the Am I Infected forum. I don't mean to sound overly cautious but it is the SOP to be guarded when dealing with that program, and is really not a General Chat subject. I am sure you can understand, as you saw the disclaimers with it.
