I recently read a solution on how to manually delete Index.dat files in XP Home. I followed the instructions -- rebooting in Safe Mode using F8, etc. This works as described - Index.dat files are deleted. But, my main concern is that I have two Administrator accts. listed during the last step in getting to "Safe Mode with Command Prompts" -- one that I set-up myself called "Ad Man" which is password protected and the other called "Administrator" which I presume is a default setting. This last one is NOT password protected (you can simply log-on by clicking on it). I cannot find "Administrator" listed under "User Accounts" in the Control Panel. Should I be worried about the lack of security here? And, if so, where do I go to set a password for it? Thanks for any ideas in advance.
