Im a new member, and I've been having serious trouble running anything with my computer.

I don't know when I got infected, but my computer suddenly froze one day and I rebooted it manually.

Upon reboot, my icons/start menu etc. did not open.

I went to my task manager and attempted to start explorer.exe, but it said it was not found. Ignoring this I continued to use my computer by loading the applications/prgrams with my task manager.

The next day, I create a HiJackThis log, and use REMOVED LINK to remove the malicious files in safe mode.

The next day, I cannot load the task manager, and my explorer.exe does not run. I attempt to run the command prompt in safe mode, but don't know where to go from there. I reboot the computer in normal mode and wait.

I get an error message saying that BN9.tmp has something something error, and if I would like to report the error. I press a link that gives me some info on the error, than a link that allows me to check this error online, thus allowing me to finally be able to open firefox.

This is where I am now.

I would really like some help, its very frustrating, and I also don't have my CD, so I can't reinstall my windows.

Im assuming somethings eating away at my WINDOWS files but I don't know what to do.
Theres no lag when I use firefox, whatevers infecting me doesn't seem to eat @ my CPU.

I think this is all I can get from what I've observed so far, if theres any more info needed, please tell me.

Thanks.
