When I am using a web cam on any of the following messengers, after a short while the connection is broken. I can still type messages but without video or sound. Windows Live, Yahoo and Skype. While using the web cam my modem flashes like crazy showing it to be very busy. Both of us are using XP and 2MB broadband. I have three computers and this happens on all three of them. Ok, the distance between us is great, he is in China and I am in the UK, but I wouldn't have thought that would have made much of a difference. Has anyone any idea what might cause this to happen? I would appreciate any advice you can give thanks.

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
