computer extremely slow running java

Whenever I run into java anywhere on the internet my computer come to a crawl.
I have checked to make sure all JRE's, exept the lae latest, are uninstalled and it still just completely bogs down.
Can someone help me please?

Your install may be damaged.

I would uninstall all previous/current installations of Java...and then go to Download Java Software - http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp and click the Free Java button.

Just tried that again, even removed all java from registry.
it even runs slow just with java installed.
Are there any known conflicts with other programs?

Not on my two desktops.

You can Google and see if you find any evidence of such.
