Hi, my computer have been infected by smithfraud. i found a nice tutorial on how to remove it on this site... http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/How...aid-t17258.html
i printed... did all it said... until i get to the KillBox part....

I open it, i click on the "delete on reboot" then i copy

C:\wp.exe
C:\wp.bmp
C:\bsw.exe
C:\Windows\sites.ini
C:\Windows\popuper.exe
C:\Windows\System32\hhk.dll
C:\Windows\System32\wldr.dll
C:\Windows\System32\helper.exe
C:\Windows\System32\intmon.exe
C:\Windows\System32\shnlog.exe
C:\Windows\system32\perfcii.ini
C:\Windows\System32\intmonp.exe
C:\Windows\System32\msmsgs.exe
C:\Windows\system32\msole32.exe
C:\Windows\System32\ole32vbs.exe

i put it in a notepad(for X reason...), then i do "paste from clipboard"... but nothing happens, no text appear, i can'T click on the "delete" button(you need to specify a file.......)

HELP ME....

ps: i tried it like 10 times, i tried with copying it in microsoft word too, i redownloaded it thinking it might be a problem with the d/l.... i tried a lot of things...

hum... i think i've post it on the wrong section... anyone can move this or i got to ask someone?

Try rearranging the order of files in the list.

This is a list of all the files Smitfraud may have installed. They most likely do not all exist on your machine. I have seen one report where Killbox would not accept the filelist if the first file listed did not exist on the system.

Alternately, you can enter them one at a time manually. Just answer YES to 'Delete on Reboot' question and NO to the reboot question until you have them all listed. Then allow the system to reboot.
