My computer has been locking up, the windows that are open flash, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then comes back on. Last night a rabbitt crossed my screen immediately after one of these lockups. I thought I was seeing things until it happened again an hour or so later. I have CyberDefender basic. I called them and the tech I spoke with took control of my computer and checked it. I watched him pull up a screen showing a huge list of errors and this, combined with the rabbitt , gave him enough reason to tell me it was probably a virus but the basic security that I paid for does not include this. Unless I give them another $300 and something CyberDefender can't, or won't, help me any further with this. I have defragged (with the program reccomended by this site), ran CCleaner, deleted a large amount of files and pictures, and downloaded the security updates from Microsoft. I am starting to see double from staring at this screen so long. I can't recall how to get to the list he showed me. I'm not sure what I'd do if I could find it. There was some unauthorized activity on my credit card about a month ago, and my computer was running slow and freezing some. It has become an expected annoyance to deal with while working. I need help.

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
