Have you installed the Intel Ethernet drivers?

If not download and install from http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers...p;param=2800553

Can you see the Intel Network Adaptor in your Device Manager. See if it is enabled.

To access Device Manager Select Start Menu > Run and type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

It shows clearly that drivers are not installed. You need to install Ethernet drivers.

On that page: http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers...-2100&st=kw

There are two links for Ethernet drivers, choose one according to your motherboard.
Also install the motherboard chipset drivers for your motheboard.

Another way to find the right driver, is to put the serial number on this page: http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers...mpid=headerlink

Once you install drivers correctly, your network connection will start working.
