I just recently installed XP Pro on a new harddrive. When booting, I'll get the XP logo, then a black screen. I've tried downloading new video drivers from nvidia (on a different computer), booted in safe mode, installed, rebooted, same problem. Everything in safe mode seems to work fine. I tried booting in safe mode with networking, and the computer hangs up at the last line before windows would load normally (/mup i believe). I tried installing new LAN drivers from the MOBO manufacturer, but I get an error, and they won't install. Any ideas?

Mobo: Shuttle AK32V
CPU: AMD Athalon ~1.2GHz
Video: nVidia GeForce 6200

Did you install the motherboard chipset drivers?
