Sony Vaio laptop purchased on ebay.

I can not access the bios as it is password locked. The seller did not have the password. This Sony has the TPM Encryption support, however it need to be enabled from the BIOS.

Is there any software solutions to clear/retrive/cmos information. I have tried cmospwd with no luck.

The CMOS battery is in a difficult location in the Vaio, so removing it to clear would be my last option.

Thanks all

It is against the rules to provide any information to help circumvent security.

If the seller did not have the BIOS password get your money back.
