Just a quick intro. I am a computer science major (getting ready to graduate May 21st) I really want to work in hardware, however my community college doesnt offer that part of the major, ha...only software programs...not even programming! just basic, learn how to use Excel, or Powerpoint, or Word, or Access...bleh...Anyhow, my family and friends look at me as the "go-to gal" for all their computer needs and problems! anyway, its great to find a forum that looks like its friendly enough to navigate through and helpful all at the same time!

Having skills in office applications is always useful and, as far as jobs go, extremely portable. You may want to begin reading some of our Tutorials and keeping up with the posts in the Hardware forums as a start.
