Alright so, I was just curious about people who hack World of Warcraft. From what I understand, WoW uses 'Warden' to track what people are doing in WoW. This is how they catch people botting etc. So therefore, when you get reported for botting by another player in WoW, do the Game Masters check the hash files that Warden sends? If this is how they do it, would people using Mac not get caught at all?

Seems like a rather silly gap there.....

Oh and I know this post must be pretty close to breaking the rules, but I don't think I quite did.

Cheers!

To say that there is a gap would be wrong. Just because Warden doesn't work on OSX (due to security policies in the OS) doesn't mean that GM's or DM's aren't checking in on players and watching anything that looks suspicious (say multiple clients accessing from one PC). So to anyone thinking MAC+ WoW = Cheating don't try it you will be caught!

Of course only silly people would try.

So, what else then does Blizzrd (orwhoever owns it these days) use other then Warden to do the same things?

If anyone knows?

Moderators. They have tough moderators.

That isn't exactly going to help much. What if someone were to hop on their Mac, load up a bot and go soemwhere no one will go, or not many people. The chances of people reporting them isnt very high due to laziness.
