Hi.

When I start up my computer a blue cmd-type screen pops-up in full screen and I have to wait for it to take me back to the desktop. I don't think this a harmful thing but it is very annoying and I'd like to get rid of it. How would I go about this?

Thanks.

Hello MJ1022 and welcome,

Just to be safe, I would run some free online virus scanners.

Thanks,

If you are talking about chkdsk running at every startup:
