Hi all,
I'm Lippy. I came here because I've had it with spyware, and this looks like a really cool forum to get help for an end-user like myself. I don't know from programming, but it's time for me to learn more about how to take care of my dinosaur of a computer. It's a whopping 8 years old this month! But it's been reliable and easily upgradable, and who can afford a new computer in this economy?
Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
Cheers!
Lippy

As long as it serves your needs, and more or less functions as it should, there is no reason not to keep your computer, especially since failing hardware can be replaced or upgraded as needed.
Welcome to BC!
