This is a great site!

I really don't know very much about computers, was totally computer illiterate until about ten years ago when I decided to buy one.

I went to Radio Shack, the only store in town that sold computers, and bought one, a Compaq Presario with one of the first XPs. I opened it up in the store and spent the next few hours making the salesman show me how to get it running, I thought the mouse was really cool, I had never seen or used one before that.

I didn't have many friends that had computers so I had to figure most of it out by myself, I spent many hours on the phone with tech guys when I had problems. I probably should have taken a course on it but I am a hard headed guy.

The computer I have now is running pretty good and I am here to learn more about it.
