Hi I bought through my college windows vista ultimate. From what the college calls it "the ultimate steal" Anyways it installs fine and all and microsoft sent me a dvd and it dont load on my computer but works on others. My DVD player on computer does work on other disks I think its the DVD microsoft sent. Anyways how can I make the files that I downloaded and installed bootable? I want to be able to restore my complete pc backup.

1st pic is the files that came with it.

X14-63452 extracts and created the folder vista

boot.wim and install.wim are there too

Is the DVD drive listed as the first boot device in your computer's BIOS?

Anyways how can I make the files that I downloaded and installed bootable?

In order to make a CD bootable, you need to burn an ISO file:

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
