Do you mean getting your address book back? That would depend largely on what sort of reinstallation was performed. If the hard drive was formatted before Windows was reinstalled, then you're out of luck, I'm afraid. If Windows was simply reinstalled over the old version without formatting, then your address book is likely still there. Where it is, exactly, depends on which program you used for e-mail.

If the drive was reformatted, then I'm afraid you're pretty much out of luck unless you had a backup.

Do you have the addresses in your webmail address book? If you do, you can export them from webmail then import into Outlook Express.
I use OE, and I keep my address book backed up. I also have it in webmail, just in case I need to do an export/import.
If you don't have it in webmail, when you get it back in OE, you can reverse the process to export from OE then import to webmail.
