Is the problem over if you remove the new memory stick?

How much RAM did you have, how many did you install new?

I realized that I could bring up a box that told me what each item was, what it is for,the values of it,,etc... I left the limit CPUID VALUE - disabled ,, as i understand it,, if i change it , it would limit the value to 3 or less,,, it was disabled so i would have no limit...
i proceeded to exit setup,, my desktop loaded, ratherly quickly i might add
i checked my RAM total,, it is now 512,,, it used to be 256.. so the new mem stick has been recognized and accepted..
i clicked on my browser, and before i could finish blinking my eyes,, the page was loaded completely.
Thank You for all your help, im extremely grateful.
Sorry if I was a P.I.T.A in any way....

Well, it sems to me you did it all yourself! Anyway, glad you resolved the problem. I would advice you to restore the BIOS-configuration to default if you still are having problems.
