Use Firefox to update Windows

You will need to install a plug-in for this to work, the linkto the extension is on the homepage.

Once it is installed, it will scan your computer, of needed updates. Then provide you a list of updates. Just click install, then click again, and it will automatically download and install everything.

Note: this is NOT an official Windows update site, but something called WindizUpdate.
Another way to use FF/Mozilla to get to the Windows Update is to use the plug-in (extension) IEView. This seems to be preferable, since there is no delay between MS issuing patches and their availability at Windiz, and you are not relying on a third party to correctly identify which patches you need on your computer.
