My father in law is using Windows ME. he was having an error message that I read was notorious on IE 5.5 that came with ME. He ended up downloading and installing IE 6.

I am just wanting to ask if IE 6 will be compatilble with WIndows ME...I'm trying to get him to upgrade to XP, but he has an older PC and may not be able to. We'll worry about that later. I just want to know if there are any problems he should expect using IE6 on Windows ME.

What is thy bidding? My Master?

IE6 SP1 works well with ME (even with Win98 SE)
Problem is that it is highly prone to malwares the haunt the internet.
Instead try using Opera if ur stuck to Windows Me. Opera is error free and less vulnerable to malwares.
