It can be extended further, to twenty-one buffalos:
Buffalo buffalo Buffalo Buffalo, Buffalo: Buffalo buffalo Buffalo Buffalo, Buffalo buffalo Buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo Buffalo, buffalo.

I don't think we're being buffaloed. I do however, think someone has WAY too much time on their hands.

OK, I'm sure when you say "BS" the "B" stands for "Buffalo",

but I can't figure out what the "S" could possibly mean!

I would have no idea what the S would stand for either JOhnWho LOL

I wish I had known that sentence long ago. I was in 3rd grade, and I was up in front of the class. It was the Spelling Bee. It was my turn, guess what I had to spell? hehehe That is right.. buffalo. Well sad to say I spelled it wrong by saying very shyly and painfully in front of the class.. b-u-f-a-l-l-o! Wrong.. take a seat. I cried.

In my spelling bee, I spelled it B I S O N, Buffalo by any other name. :trumpet:

And for clarification BS stands for Buffalo/Bison Scat. :flowers:

I always hated English class.

For what it's worth, sentences such as those generally don't appear in English classes but rather in Linguistics classes. I assure you, puzzle-lover that I am, I DID NOT care for this type of linguistic puzzle.

I still havent even figured out what that means yet. . .

Let me see if this helps?

If the capitalization is ignored, the sentence can be read another way:
Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo.

That is, bison from Buffalo intimidate (other) bison from Buffalo that are intimidated by bison from Buffalo.
