Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

I have SP3 already---do I really need to install the Framework 3.5 SP1?

If you don't have any problems with any of your programs that require .NET Framework, then probably not. .NET Framework is only required for a couple programs.

Takes a while, and it a pretty big download though ...
UNIX was not designed to stop you from doing stupid things, because that would also stop you from doing clever things.
