Hi,

There are thousands of places to get help on the web, but this seems a very comprehensive and friendly place. I am the "IT Manager" for my small company, but really I'm an architect masquerading as someone who knows enough about computers to get me into trouble.

I am suffering from a couple of issues now (that I will post elsewhere) and hope to find solutions. Occasionally I have answers, and will share those too when it's clear that I know what I am actually talking about!

BC is both a useful resource for computing knowledge, but a great user community of members who are more than willing to share their expertise and experience in helping others. As the activity of computing becomes more complex, users learn to rely on one another's areas of knowledge.
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John

 to BC! jojostarbuck.
Yes BC is a very helpful and friendly place. Also here we try to explain everything in the simplest of terms so that a complete newbie could understand them.

Good Luck,
