I have Symantec Ghost 8. I have one hard drive in my laptop that has crashed before and makes clicking sounds. I have another one that I have placed in a usb enclosure. When I boot into Ghost from a cd I can copy up to 90% then an error comes up saying that it can't write to A:\output.txt (obviously because I don't have a floppy a: drive). After the error I go to check the new drive and it is still blank. The only solution I can think of is to get those laptop to desktop adapters and put them in my old desktop but it doesn't have sata and barely works. I went through the options for Ghost and there was no option on where to place the output.
