I am new to this site and look forward to instructive and constructive experience with this community. I do have some computer education background but it's mostly in programming and essentially useless for the admin problems I encounter. I have worked for my small company nearly since its beginning approximately 12 years ago and, by necessity; have also become admin through all the growing pains over the years. Family, friends, and co-workers consider me an admin genius and frequently approach me for help. But the truth is I know only a little bit about a lot of things and the more I learn, the more I realize how very little I know. The most important thing that has helped me over the years has been the ability to find answers. Google has been a lifesaver over the years but has become very convoluted with erroneous information and I probably should have joined a community of computer bleepers years ago, but better late than never. Also, I want to thank in advance all who expend their time and energy assisting me. Please believe that I am sincerely grateful and know how valuable your assistance is. Hopefully I am able to return the favor to others and spread the karma as situations arise.

As my name indicates, I went to KU and am a big Jayhawk fan. RockChalk Jayhawk, KU!!

Welcome to BC!
A background in programming certainly helps knowing what to look for.
