We have been having issues with all of our Servers running W2K recently. A few weeks ago all of our W2K server (6 total) had got infected with some sort of spyware. We downloaded and install Prevx Edge on all but one and this worked great. I say all but one because for some reason my one server throws an error everytime I try to install it. It tells me to wait until the Uninstallation of Prevx completes before re-installing. I've killed every process that is named anything close to Prevx or CSI scan. I've used procexp to list all process on the server and I don't see anything that would remotely look like a Prevx process. I've installed Hijackthis on the server to see if I could pick out anything that comes across odd but can't find anything. I was wondering anyone could look at the log for me and tell me if you see anything?

I'll wait until asked to post the log file and I thank anyone in advance for your help or advice.

Try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
See if Prevx is listed and remove it if it is
